1. The short version
Bloom uses the few cookies it needs to work, and none for advertising. We do not track you across other websites, and we do not sell anything about you.
2. What we set
- Session cookie. Keeps you signed in as you move between pages. Without it you would have to sign in again on every screen.
- Security token. A cookie that proves a form submission came from you and not from another site. It protects your account.
Both are strictly necessary for the service, expire when your session ends or shortly after, and are readable only by Bloom.
3. What third parties set
During checkout, our reseller and Merchant of Record Paddle.com loads its own payment components, which set cookies needed to take a payment securely and to prevent fraud. These are governed by Paddle's terms and privacy notice. Signing in with Google likewise involves Google's own cookies, under Google's policies.
4. What we do not do
No advertising cookies, no retargeting pixels, no cross-site trackers, and no third-party analytics profiling you as an individual.
5. Controlling cookies
Your browser can block or delete cookies. Blocking the two above will stop Bloom from being able to sign you in, so the service will not work — that is a limitation of how sessions work on the web, not a choice we made.
